Lawrence D’Attilio is a fine art photographer whose work has covered various locations in the world. His photography teaching experience includes courses he has given over twenty five yeras at various institutions including UW Madison, Cardinal Stritch College, The Milwaukee Center for Photography, and The Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts.

His fine art photography has been exhibited in Hanoi, Saigon, Milan, Chicago and Milwaukee. In addition to his fine art work Lawrence does commerical assignments in the areas of weddings, portraits, special events, fashion.

He co-founded and co-directed the Bathhouse Gallery and the Photography Collectors Gallery in Milwaukee, which specialized in investment quality photographs.

He also was the initial founder of the Coalition of Photographic Arts, www.copamilwaukee.com, an organization of 200 artist photographers.

Currently he is a director and fellow of The Underwood Foundation and is in the manager of Vietnam projects. He has made five trips to Vietnam, spending ten months there working on five projects. The fifth photography project focuses on people's problems with water. It also is about helping other Wisconsin people to become involved in Vietnam humanitarian programs.

Pamela Foard is Larry's wife and he has four sons. He has been involved in civic work as well and currently is a member of Elmbrook Rotary Club.

In the past Larry had a 31-year career as a bassoonist with several large American symphony orchestras. In the 1980s he flew over one thousand hours as a general aviation pilot.
